Cleopatra began for me as more than an idea for a historical fiction series. Somewhere along the way, it became a journey into the questions that have always fascinated me: about time, memory, love, identity, destiny, and the possibility that some stories may begin long before we become aware of them.
The series moves between the ancient world and the present, blending history, mystery, romance, mythology, psychology and the unexplained. At its heart is Cleopatra, but perhaps not quite the Cleopatra we think we know.
In Part I, the door first opens. Stylianos, a young tour guide in modern Alexandria, meets the mysterious Zy, and what begins in the present gradually leads into another time, towards ancient Alexandria, Cleopatra’s world, and a mystery far larger than either of them expected.
Part II, Reincarnation Begins, takes that mystery much deeper. Devi arrives in Alexandria, where places, faces and symbols begin to feel strangely familiar. Beside her is Rudra, whose connection with her carries an intensity that seems to reach beyond the present. And then there is Professor Vinci, brilliant, fascinated, and increasingly consumed by what he believes he is beginning to uncover.

This is where the journey begins.
Part I moves between two time periods, allowing the past and present to gradually speak to one another. Characters from each timeline carry intriguing echoes of the other through relationships, emotions, choices, personalities, and circumstances, creating a subtle sense of parallel lives and mirrored identities across time.
These connections are not explained immediately. They are meant to be noticed slowly as the story unfolds.
Set against the atmosphere of Alexandria, the novel blends history, mystery, romance, mythology and the unexplained. What begins as a journey in the modern world gradually opens a doorway to ancient Alexandria and to questions that have remained buried for centuries.
A note from the author
I would rather not reveal much more here, because a large part of this book lies in discovering those connections for yourself. Some details may appear insignificant at first, only to take on a very different meaning later.
I hope you enter Part I without trying to solve everything too quickly. Allow the two worlds, the characters and their strange echoes across time to reveal themselves gradually.

Part II begins where the mystery starts to feel much more personal.
Devi arrives in Alexandria, and what should have been an ordinary journey gradually becomes something far more unsettling. Certain places feel familiar. Faces seem to carry recognition. Symbols, memories and emotional connections begin to surface in ways that are difficult to explain.
Alongside her is Rudra, whose bond with Devi carries an intensity that feels almost older than the present itself. At the same time, Professor Vinci is drawn increasingly into the mystery, and his fascination with what he is uncovering begins to move into far more complicated territory.
This book explores the point at which memory, identity, love, obsession and reincarnation begin to overlap. The past is no longer simply being remembered; it appears to be pressing itself into the present.
A note from the author
I do not want to reveal too much, because Part II is built around discovery. The questions become larger, the emotional connections become stronger, and the line between what belongs to history and what belongs to the present begins to blur.
At the centre of the book is one question that slowly changes everything: What if the mystery is not simply whether Cleopatra has returned, but whether Cleopatra herself was only one expression of something much older?
I strongly recommend reading Part I before Part II. The experience is much richer when the story is followed in sequence.
